National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D)!

L.E.A.D News thinblueline

Here in the United States, Law Enforcement Appreciation Day or L.E.A.D for short is celebrated on January 9th each year. This day is set aside to support our law enforcement officers. I hope most of us don't relegate showing support to just one day a year. Our officers work 365 days a year, and I for one think they need support year round.

Here are 3 simple ways we thought of to show support all year:

  • Send a letter or postcard to your local police headquarters to or state agency.
  • Share positive stories and/or interactions on your social media sites
  • Most importantly, when you see a Police officer... thank a Police officer!
